The 2015 USA boys’ youth national team seeks to carry over its gold medal performance at the 2014 NORCECA Boys’ Youth Continental Championship to the FIVB Volleyball Boys’ U19 World Championship in Argentina. The United States placed 16th at the last U19 World Championship in 2013, but this year’s team brings in new athletes for the age classification. The year 2015 marks the sixth time USA has competed in the U19 World Championship, where their best finish was in seventh place in 1995. The boys’ youth national team has a successful history at the NORCECA Boys’ Youth National Championship as well, earning two gold medals, three silver medals and two bronze medals over the course of nine competitions.
