Resistencia, Argentina, August 21, 2015 - After two wins in a row, Belgium recovered their best spirit even though they aimed to be higher in the final ranking. Setter Florian Malisse underlined their focus for that and he also praised the fantastic blocking against Chinese Taipei.
Florian Malisse, Belgium player: "We were focused before the match, we knew we were going for the win, we wanted the three points. We started the match very aggressively, we knew where and when we had to block and it worked perfectly. We didn't come for the 17th place to be honest; we wanted to get a place somewhere higher so we were disappointed. But now we get our revenge winning twice 3-0 and it’s the only thing we can do now - keep fighting as we did in the entire tournament."
Lin Lu-Wei, Chinese Taipei captain: "I think playing in Resistencia for the first time affected us, but anyway, this loss is more because of our spirit. We weren't focused enough and we paid it. Now we need to improve our concentration thinking about tomorrow's game."
