Corrientes, Argentina, August, 15, 2015 – Bulgaria smashed Chile in a comfortable 3-set-victory (25-19, 25-15, 25-22). With great authority, the Europeans imposed their power to bend the Southamericans with the scoring capability of Parapunov (16) and Shekerdhiev (14).
There were no equivalencies between the two teams. Bulgaria served really well and put Chilean reception in trouble from the beginning. Nikolay Manchev managed their attackers perfectly and put in jeopardy the block-defense system of Chile, to win the first set 25-19.
Chile sensed the strike and lowered the head in the second set, allowing Bulgaria to continue growing and getting stronger, smashing them 25-15. Chile started with another attitude the third chapter, but it wasn’t enough, as Parapunov and Dramov, the heart of Bulgaria, gave their team a wide victory (25-22).
