Inspired Kwolek drives Poland to semifinals over China

Resistencia, Argentina, August 21, 2015 - European MVP Bartosz Kwolek broke all the charts as Poland stomped China 3-0 (25-19, 25-17, 25-22) at the quarterfinals stage in Resistencia. Demolishing serves and never-ending power uplifted Kwolek as the man of the match.

Kwolek gathered 23 points with a new tournament record from the service line - a shocking total of 10 aces among the 12 of the team overall. Opposite Jakub Ziobrowski and outside hitter Tomasz Fornal joined with 15 and 10 tallies respectively.

China went down on their knees as the mighty Poland spiked harder and harder. Yu Yuantai was controlled and couldn’t reach his usual levels, finishing the game with 8 points, the same amount than fellow attacker Zhou Liying.

This way, while Poland are still on track to defend their bronze medal achieved in Mexico 2013, China will fall short from their last campaign, where they reached the final match.
