Poland erased Chile with Bartosz Kwolek in killing-mode

Corrientes, Argentina, August, 17, 2015 – Chile couldn’t leave a good image facing Poland in their last match of FIVB Boys' U19 World Championship Pool C. They now have to wait for Chinese Taipei not to win any points against Iran.

The Poles built their victory (25-14, 25-19, 25-23) with an astonishing demonstration by Bartosz Kwolek, who scored as much points from service than attacking, to end as the top scorer with 13.

If this match was a test, Poland would have definitely got an “A” in service. 11 aces (6 by Kwolek) left useless the Chilean game circuit and made possible for Sebastian Pawlik to give their players some rest.

Chilean players seem to have entered the field aware of their imminent defeat. After two sets of Polish supremacy (25-14, 25-19) they realized that they could put the European Champions in trouble with imprudence and audacity, but it was too late. Poland had in Dawid Woch a blank check and took the victory to improve their winning streak to 3 and remain unbeaten in Argentina.
