“The most important thing is our team spirit”, says Poland’s Kochanowski

Resistencia, Argentina, August 21, 2015 - Along Poland’s run throughout the tournament, the team shone due to many reasons, all of them good enough to explain their presence in the semifinals. For captain Kochanowski, however, the main virtue lies outside of the actual way of playing.

Jakub Kochanowski, Poland captain: "China was a hard opponent, it wasn't an easy match. Their reception is very good and even they're not tall, they attack well. The most important thing is our team spirit, we're always together but also our serving is a key, we feel that no one can receive our service. I'm glad we're going to play against Iran - it was a motivation for us that they were waiting there. We have to start thinking about the game and hope we win."

Gu Jun, China coach: "We had a problem with both our reception and defense. Poland service was excellent and we couldn't solve that even we tried hard. They also were very good in attack. Now, we will let our boys get relaxed and enjoy the following games."
