Turkey didn't fall into dispair and defeated Japan with amazing Cam

Corrientes, Argentina, August, 21, 2015 – Turkey started with the right foot its way to be in the top of 9th-16th classification with a victory over Japan in 4 sets (25-21, 25-22, 16-25, 25-19). Abdullah Cam led the Turkish offensive with 18 points, while Suzuki Yuki was the most distinguished among the Japanese with 16.

Turkey, affected by their elimination from Round of 16 in Chinese hands, planned the match wisely to beat the fierce defense of the Orientals. From scratch, Salih Tavaci’s players dealed damage with the service, but Japanese defense grew stronger every second. After two sets, the Asians had already got on Turkish nerves, making them erratic and taking the 3rd with a comfy advantage.

But in the fourth everything changed again. Turkey recovered the domination over Japan with an impressive display of resources by Abdullah Cam and took the win with no further problems despite the great performance of Yuki Suzuki and the always-present Kenyu Nakamoto.
