Resistencia, Argentina, August 18, 2015 - Sparked by the dynamic duo of Kyle Ensing and Torey DeFalco, USA stormed past home boys Argentina 3-0 (25-20, 26-24, 25-23) and finished the group stage above everybody on Pool A.
Both Ensing and DeFalco were tied as the game’s main scorers with 16 points each, while teammate Jordan Ewert helped the cause with 11. Besides, USA also shone on a team level, with advantages of 14-7 in blocks and 7-3 in aces.
Argentina struggled until the very end, with Jan Martínez at the helm with 11 tallies - 3 of them from the service line. Second opposite Juan Bucciarelli chipped in with 7 points, but they had to kneel to USA’s major power force.
