Wonderful Ziobrowski propelled Polish victory over Chinese Taipei

Corrientes, Argentina, August, 18, 2015 – Poland ended with Chinese Taipei hopes after a comfortable 3-0 win (25-21, 25-20, 25-17). Jakub Ziobrowski propelled with 17 points the Polish victory to end their participation in Pool C with a perfect 4-win registry.

Polish serving performance wasn’t consistent with their weak blocking. The Europeans imposed their supremacy from the serving line (9-1) but subdued by the Asians in the net (1-5). However, the biggest difference resided in the attack and counterattack phase, where Poland was highly superior (41-24) with 14 points provided by the best scorer among Pools C and D, Jakub Ziobrowski , who after the first round accumulates 65 points.

Poland helped Chile keep the fourth place of Pool C, and will now wait for the 4th ranked team in Pool D, Puerto Rico or Japan. The Asian squad, that recovered their captain Lu-Wei Lin- injured before the start of the competition- finished the preliminary round with no victories and will have to fight for the best ranking between 17th to 20th place.
