China sweep Egypt and move forward in Argentina

Resistencia, Argentina, August 17, 2015 - With another astonishing performance of outside hitter Yu Yuantai, China walked past Egypt 3-0 (26-24, 27-25, 25-15) and gathered another three points that carry them to the next round of FIVB Boys’ U19 World Championship.

Tireless Yu performed at his best with 21 points in three sets and a solid 68% on spiking, and he also was vital to vanish four set ball for Egypt in the second set. Fellow attacker Zhou Liying helped from the service line at that key moment of the game.

Egypt, nearly out of the medal race, made use of 13 points from Marwan Badawi and 10 from Mahmoud Mohamed, but the blow suffered on that second chapter demolished them for the rest of the game.

Already qualified to Round of 16, China will complete their pool play schedule against leaders Italy, while Egypt will play their final card at the game with Cuba on Tuesday.
